Hi All, Im relatively new to Opals and not sure if I have unearthed a gem or junk so here goes :-) I bought a small parcel from Ebay and one of the stones I have cut looks to have gold embedded in the stone, I've googled this to try to find out if its possible. The stone to me looks like there is one bigger piece of gold and lots of tiny ones. If anyone can shine a light on this for me I would be grateful. The oictures arnt the best but to can see the general idea.

I also contacted Paul Sedawie and shared some pictures with him and he believes that it inclusions with iron rather than gold. A bit dissapointing to hear that but its still a very pretty stone :-)
