I fell in love with opals the first time I accidentally stumbled across one at a fair many years ago . I thought it was the most beautiful stone in the world. I talked to a jeweler who told me it was fake and showed me some real ones. I couldn’t stop staring. I had a ring made when I graduated nursing school. More recently in searching the internet for information on how to tell real opal from fake I saw Justin’s video comparing the two. When he showed that opals could be cut with a dremel I became obsessed. I never new there were so many different types of opals until I found Roy’s Rocks on you tube. i bought all different types in rough and rubs. I can’t stop looking at them and I have a hard time choosing which stones to work on. I love opals. Best gems ever.
